The Blatnik Bridge is scheduled to close in the spring of 2027, with the closure expected to last at least five years (through 2032). To prepare for the impact on our region, the Development Association Inc. (DA), with funding support from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), is conducting an economic impact study focused on Wisconsin-based businesses.

Your input will help:

• Inform the Development Association, regional partners, and decision-makers about the real challenges businesses will face.

• Guide requests for financial, logistical, and workforce support to help sustain the business community during the closure.
